There were probably dozens of GOP-operatives at the White House, on long nights, reading through these documents. The illegality and impeachable actions goes beyond even NIXON, when I think about it. My god. And to serve WHAT PURPOSE? Just to have more criminals in the GOP remain in office as they were free to act in illegal and criminal ways, stealing monies, channeling power and influence to their friends, and hurting these United States in the most evil and immoral ways. GOP=EVIL.

I hope that the DEVIL has a spot in hell ready for Gonzales, when he leaves this earth. This man, single-handedly, shredded the fabric of the Constitution and our judiciary. The idea that the POLITICAL WING of the Republican party was sitting down at a table, and reading through reams of sensitive, ongoing AG matters, and determining, whether the AG was getting too close to Abrahamoff, or Cunningham, or others and then making a decision to fire the AG so as to kill the indictment?! TRAITOROUS!

Whitehouse, and another Senator, actually showed how GONZALES changed the sharing of sensitive information of the Judicial branch, which only was allowed between SEVEN PEOPLE total, to become allowed access with HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE (within even the White House political departments)! Can you believe the ROVE-Politicization of the supposed UNBIASED and IMPARTIAL judiciary, to become tainted and stained so badly?!! And all those Political appointments into career positions by Alberto. Scandalous!

Connecting the dots. Remember the brain-puzzler question about HOW the White House could have known about ANY of the ongoing investigations of the US AG's (that were summarily fired), while in mid-term, either investigating GOP targets, or refusing to indict people, who the AG's said should not be indicted? IT WAS GONZALES. He allowed access to sensitive, judiciary dept information, to get INTO THE HANDS OF POLITICAL OPERATIVE AT THE WHITEHOUSE. Who ultimately fired these AGs, to stop them!!

Damn, Cheney got involved in just about every part of government he wanted to. Definitely, a co-presidency at the LEAST. Nothing got in the way of politics for these bastards.

Oh my.

I was saddened to see Lincoln Chafee kicked out of office. I thought he was a good Senator who served as a model for what the Republican Party could be.

Seing this clip, I'm a very happy man that Sheldon Whitehouse is in the Senate.

The way he blew open the public record on internal DoJ memos here and shed even more light on the power grabs and politicizing of essential government functions this administration has made its legacy are well worth it.

Bravo, Senator, bravo.

Whitehouse is Good to Go. I'm from Maryland Originally and been living in RI for 7 years. I'm very happy with our Congressional Delegation. I liked Chafee as well.
