What is this guy doing? He could have so easily handled this by tearfully admitting everything, explaining how the hypocritical culture of the far right drove him to lead a double life. Liberals would for the most part forgive him and welcome him into the fold -- unlike the treatment he is now getting from his fellow Republicans. But no. This guy wants it all. Has to be Mr. Family Values Family Guy as well as suck the occasional hog in a public restroom. Truly pathetic.
he put his wife at high risk of aids and whatever else is out there ... he broke his vows .. i dont see where the hypocrisy is .. if he is guilty? quit! thats what an honerable man does when he's caught doing things dis-honerable. of course i heard the shakedown form the officer and i have to say that cop just had a hardon for him ..pun intended

All you Left wing Hack Bastards that have a problem with this were completely silent when Bill Clinton's tape with Gennifer Flowers came out. I remember noone giving a freakin damn about it, and Bill Clinton was running for President, I can't stand you Bastards
Spoken like a true Foxnotized person. What liberal news organization spent 1.7 million dollars in the Florida courts arguing they had a first amendment right to distort and fabricate news? Here is a hint Fox vs Akre
I do not intend to defend Rep. Craig actions in anyway, but I don't think the entrapment policy of law enforcement is a valid way to stop this type of action.
If law enforcement wants to stop this then put a police officer by the public restroom door. Otherwise it is just a mean, in my opinion, arrest gay individuals. With that said, I also think he should keep his congressional seat. It is a good reminder for republicans who are in denial that anyone can be gay even if they are themselves.
So you just arrest gay people and that solves the problem. How about arresting them in the act like this story is all about. The man has shown little integrity to hold a Senate seat. No matter the party.
Craig thought he was being so clever saying that "it was his intent to resign," just as he thought he was clever repeatedly calling Clinton a "naughty, nasty boy" or repeatedly proclaiming "I am not gay" or thinking that a guilty plea would make his problems disappear. The only person Craig has been fooling is himself (and perhaps his poor wife). Frankly he needs to go back to Idaho to his safe, cozy closet; gay people don't need another pathetic excuse for homosexuality like Haggard or Foley.

and not only that, a straight guy would never use the term "a buzz" to mean phone call.

He's been stuck in the closet so long he's grown senile, if he thinks he's coming back from this one.
