I do not intend to defend Rep. Craig actions in anyway, but I don't think the entrapment policy of law enforcement is a valid way to stop this type of action.

If law enforcement wants to stop this then put a police officer by the public restroom door. Otherwise it is just a mean, in my opinion, arrest gay individuals. With that said, I also think he should keep his congressional seat. It is a good reminder for republicans who are in denial that anyone can be gay even if they are themselves.

Craig thought he was being so clever saying that "it was his intent to resign," just as he thought he was clever repeatedly calling Clinton a "naughty, nasty boy" or repeatedly proclaiming "I am not gay" or thinking that a guilty plea would make his problems disappear. The only person Craig has been fooling is himself (and perhaps his poor wife). Frankly he needs to go back to Idaho to his safe, cozy closet; gay people don't need another pathetic excuse for homosexuality like Haggard or Foley.
