I grew up with the DiC version, but if you are familiar with the Japanese version, you should use their proper names. Their Japanese names are beautiful and perfectly describes who they are as people and senshi. You are perfectly entitled to keep using their English names if you can't grasp the Japanese ones, just as I am entitled to point out the Japanese version is the proper way of referring to the character. :)

The creator of Sailor Moon Naoko Takuechi is japanese, the characters of sailor moon, are JAPANESE. Chibiusa, Usagi, Mamoru, Ami, Rei, Minako, Makoto. Those are their ORIGINAL names. Its not Rini, Serena, Darien, Amy, Mina or Lita (wtf?). They are only called those in the horribly dubbed English Version so American's wouldn't think they have weird names or a hard time saying them.

My comment seems to keep striking a chord with people who hold the DiC version sacred in their hearts. If you have watched the original Japanese version, you should refer to them correctly. If you have not, please do not deny yourself the pleasure of experiencing the Sailor Moon anime how it was meant to be seen. Cheers.

Very cool vid, Black lady is an interesting character!! just a note, you said even at such a young age, Rini is actually over 900 years old. Due to the silver crystal the inhabitants of crystal Tokyo are immortal. She's still cute for a 900 year old though :) lol
