  • whoa! You had been playing for A few months?? i've been playing for 5 years and I'm playing this for my recital. BE PROUD! and I bet you're even better now.

  • Thanks so much for posting this:) i really needed to have something to use to help me learn how to play this!!!

  • Pretty good overall, but a few brassy sounds, tempo changes, cracked notes, high/low register errors, some unexpected stops, bad breathing places, wrong harmonic notes, rit. errors. Good job for only a few months playing, if I were you, I would try an easier solo, like The Hunt by James Ployhar? Try to work on that.

  • @fhorndude REALLY?She ios trying the best she can.And EVERY SING;E comment is positive.I'm 11 and I am playing the French Horn.Every person but you said she was good.STFU.

  • if you only play for a few monds this is amazing! I play for 4 years now and i'm not much better than you. you're doing great ;)

  • This is really good considering you've only played for a couple months. Great Job!

  • wow! for beginner your good! I had my first trumpet solo event just yesterday, and I've only been playin a year. ITS SO NERV RACKING!!!! keep up the good work!

  • you rushed a little bit but other than that very good work on ur notes too

  • you did really good, especially for only playing a few months. even though you cracked notes, you nailed most of the rhythms. great job! (:

  • my sister's a french horn player, and her friende has this solo.

  • I just played that at my solo contest, and i got a 1+! However i was given 2 months to learn it, it was still an extremely hard piece to master, so dont sweat all the cracked notes because I was the same way. The key is to use a LOT of air and keep your face set. I'm surprised that someone would assign you that piece with your amount of experience, because I've been playing for two years, but good job anyways!
