This was broadcast on my second and third day of kindergarten. I thought about having this and clips from June 9 and 10, 2004 (my third-to-last and second-to-last days of high school) for our senior yearbook. That would have been neat because our theme was "From Start To Finish."

Brien Taylor, the baseball player featured at 3:12, suffered a severe arm injury during a fight on Saturday, December 18, 1993. The incident destroyed his career before he made it to the majors.
Today, he works as a construction worker.

This was a busy week for Connie Chung. In addition to subbing for Paula Zahn on This Morning, she subbed for Dan Rather on the CBS Evening News (on the 27th, 28th, and 29th).

Connie is always kind of stiff but she and Harry (back when Harry was looser and much more fun) are good together. Thanks for posting this. I really enjoyed CBS This Morning back in the Harry/Paula/Mark era.
Not sure why they were doing the odd affair and mother stuff.
