@KHIMERA609 Yeah..the earlier generations may have had set in a nostalgic feel for everyone but let's be honest here..MOST of the Pokemon designs in 1st and 2nd gen were pretty bland if you ask me. I was in 4th grade when Pokemon Blue came out and my parents got me it as a Christmas present and I loved it. You obviously aren't a fan if all you do is complain about the newer ones being 'ridiculous' every gen had some. For me 4th gen designs were the most creative/intricate/awesome by far.

I don't know how old are you and I'm sure it's none of my business, but it's getting really late for me to appreciate the newer generation of pokemon. I did love Pokemon when if first came out but that doesn't mean I am bound to like all the series. So yeah the nostalgia of the first generations is my only connection with Pokemon. I don't want to get in to too much detail, but basically I believe that knowing the creators of the original Pokemon are making new ones creates a subconcious dislike, and that there is a safe place in knowing that these aren't actually official.
