ngfxoxo yeah is mom is dead and she was diagnosed with i dontknow if I spelt it right but scitzophrenia. And both of his parents are dead and I got to meet him ebcuase he came to my foster home in daley city cali.

PS....is she dead now? I thought I read she was. What do you think was the deal with her? I think her sadistic and violent cruelty to David and then his brother shows she was a mentally ill, I would say a sadistic psychopath. Does not excuse one thing that she did, but it might provide an explanation of why. As for his father, shame on his life, for sitting back and allowing this to take place, and never once coming to his little boy's defense. Shame!

And because his monster of a mother wasnt punished for what she did to david she then went on to abuse his younger brother richard, whom has also written two books about his childhood- very sad as it could have easily been avoided .( books are called "A brothers journey " and " A teenagers journey " by Richard b.Pelzer.)

Such a sad sad story. I am wondering if there are any pictures of David's mother? I am curious what she looks like; no doubt far from the cloven footed evil creature that I think of for her; but I still am curious.

Thank you Beck. You know I have often wondered what David looked like growing up; the few shots I have seen apparently were before the abuse got too intense, and he was a very sweet looking child. I wondered about school pictures, are there any of him that would show us how he looked? Things are better now in terms of detecting and preventing child abuse but boy we have a LONG way to go. Thank you for your info.

dave, i was talking to my aunt which i just reunited with ( over the phone and thanks to myspace) after 22 years of not knowing anything about my dad and his family. i was born in Cali , in 1978 but in 1989 my mother decided to leave my dad after falsely putting him in jail. anyhow to get to the point , i was talking to my aunt and going over my life since the last time i saw her and i was recounting my life story to her ,that is when she said "oh,have you read "a child it"? this is the 1st x.

Ive Read All 3 Of Davids Books and they made me cry he is such an amazing man my heart realy goes out to him he is a man of courage bravery and hope. He is a insperational man. Great Video :D

I hate his mother. Fucking evil bitch. She never recieved any punishment at all for her crimes. Except that she was probably always miserable every day of her life. The rest of the family are almost as bad, for not stepping in and protecting him and the rest of the community. The school and the social let this go on for years.
