@ohsixdubrx the point is to push rc technology to the limit to make things that can fly like a dragonfly does these hellis will probably be everywhere in the future as security drones or something, capturing crimes and crims on the run so i think there is a very good point to this.
Is the Pitch (or aeleron) -servo loose, or is it installed in an angle?
I noticed the same thing in 500 swash, but since the servos have less travel (since they go in arch instead of straight line), the rod stabilizes the travel a bit.. going slower on middle (because of the angle of the rod), and giving more input with less movement when servo arm is at 45deg angle.. at least that's how I figured it.
That's just fucking ridiculous. I have to be honest, I would be shitting my pants if I saw that thing flying over my head at that speed and angle. And the sound it makes is amazing.
It's 12 cells, running an ICE-HV-160 controller, pulling average of around 85 amps, peaks over 150 amps. At least that was the specs last time I saw it. :)
during the mating season, helicopters usually dance to attract their mates.

The second battery is strapped under theneath the frame above the rear skid support. It's of hard to see.
