hey, recently when i try and sync more photos it comes up with something about "error (-50)" and doesnt find my ipod. i have uploaded photos before. musi have had it (the ipod) about 5 or so years!
You could try using a free software download called Handbrake. It allows you to convert DVD's to MP4 format. After it converts, the MP4 file can be dragged to the Movies section on your iTunes page, then just drag it to your iPod. Or you can download Tooble for free or pay $5 for Tooble Pro which allows you to download videos from YouTube as well as other video hosting sites. Hope this helps you out a little.
If the software works just fine, and you can still enjoy the ipod, I would say 200$. Even with some scratches. It depends on the model too though. I would subtract 50$ for every past generation.
