@turtlelover42 That is an western Painted turtle (chrysemys picta belli). No that's definitely not an Eastern.

Also, does the tank have a filter? the water looks kind of cold, the turtle will be more active in warm water... The crayfish is also a little too big, it can hurt the turtle... I love the filter but soon you might need a bigger tank

@TheTurtlelover09 i am puting a heater in soon and i put a small crayfish in instead, and i have a 250 and a 125 gallon pond, im your biggest fan your so awesome ,turtles are my favorite hobby i started about 6 months ago, i wasnt even expecting you to post a comment lol i cant wait to get more turtles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
