I think Monster Hunter 2nd G should have been mentioned. It is afterall the highest selling psp game this year in Japan. It has a rising popularity in the west and from my own experience, extremely solid gameplay. The graphics are beautiful and customization is simply superb.

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 2nd G is where it's at. The good news is that we're getting this in the form of Monster Hunter Unite in March of next year.
