im a coldplay fan and they DO NOT do depressing songs, i listen to them loads and most of them are love songs. i swear the whole world has this stupid misconception that ALL of coldplay's songs are depressing. they arent, you cant stereotype on just a few songs - "fix you" for example. listen to the 'parachutes' and 'a rush of blood to the head' albums.

well.. it depends on your taste.. agreed.a hundred thousand suns is a phonemenal album but final straw and eyes open weren't half bad either. all three albums are different and represent different stages of life and relationships. i think this latest album willlg et the greatest public response as its the most uplifting

Gary is from Bangor, Johnny and Nathan from Belfast, Paul from Glasgow and Tom from Dundee. So 3 are Northern Irish and 2 are Scottish. However, all of them live in Scotland.
