@GamerMeki They have a seperate area disconnected from real space. if you go to your map and look at that area near the jove empire its the only blacked out zone with two dots that are owned by ccp. the black zones are the areas you find through wormholes and one of the ccp systems is the arena areas and the other is the gm hq

If I was running an alliance fleet back then I would do 5 scorpions and 5 stealth bombers because back then scorpions were the shit. They costed as much as a dreadnought and might as well have been for the carnage they laid out.

With the buff that pirate frigs got, teams should know they'll be popular. That means no stealth bombers, seriously. They got mowed down. Fly some thrashers or sabres.

Props to red overlord. Machariels are the best ships in the game. 1200 dps easily.

I called this one the instant I compared the team loadouts? 1 Maelstrom vs 3 Machariels? Maelstrom certain to be shredded. Stealth bombers vs no less than SIX high-speed, high-firepower pirate frigates? Entire bomber wing guaranteed to be turned into space confetti in seconds. ER's ONLY chance of victory was a lucky bomb strike wiping out the R.O frigate wing in one shot and with ships that fast, even that hope was absurdly slim.

Red Overlord had a very solid setup so the result isn't surprising. The setup is that each team can build a team with 100 points each ship class assigned a point value. No caps, no faction or deadspace gear outside of flagships, only one logistics no more then 3 of a type of ship.
