  • Huayra (wai-ra)

  • 3 and 4.

  • what season and episode???

  • You forgot the Lamborghini Blaaaaaargh.

  • It's actually pronounced "h-wire-a", that is, according to motor trend.

  • @TheProgGuy since motor trend is a knock off im just going to stick to what top gear says

  • shit man i want the full video of this there's more fun not shown

  • hueh!!!

  • Huayra means Wind in the Guarani language. Guarani was the language spoken by Aborigines in same areas of some South America. Nowadays you can hear the language in Paraguay and Argentine's Mesopotamia.

  • @az0910523 Well 9 is a better sound

  • 1 - huUaaAah

    5 - hueah

    9 - hOUUAAH

  • press one for huayra

    press 5 for hu.huayra

press 9 for the real way of saying huayra

  • Whay-ra thats the correct way to pronounce it

  • @AAGames1 you are my hero!! seriously i've been wondering how it's spelled since i heard of it LOL

  • @AAGames1

  • In finnish that name sounds like "huora" which in finnish means -> bitch :D

  • @Rentta Or rather whore than bitch.

  • @EUBG Yeap

  • @waiotahi52 IMMA BEAST lol

  • Its pronouced the Why hee ra

  • hu-why-ra

  • 8 people did a huayra in their passenger seat

  • I'm curious, actually. Is British people hard to spell something like the Huayra? Or is it that i don't know how Huayra is spelled? 'Cuz when i saw this episode, (especially when the Huayra is on The News), i thought Huayra is spelled like...."Hyu-Why-Raa", or is there other correct way to say it?

  • @orihalchon the proper way to say it is something like WHY-ERA!

  • @SJM1994London right, so it's just as i thought it should be then. but how come they can't spell it? Is it because a similar factor something like Japanese can't spell "L", or what?

  • @orihalchon well its a complicated name to spell as well as pronounce. I can spell Huayra though simply because I like to get the names right (Spelling and pronunciation).

Some people just spell it wrong because they're lazy but others may have a hard time trying to spell Huayra!

  • @SJM1994London Ah, i see then. So it's just some sort of a regional factor, or Jezza just don't like the name? XD

  • @orihalchon something like that :)

  • Jus drive the car already lol

  • "it's call the huaaaaaaaaaaaaa~~~~" LMFAO!!!

  • @jessechen998 haha yeah like fun with dick and jane when , dick screams when hes on that restaurant lmao hahaha

  • lmao Press 5 and tell me it doesnt sound like something out of beavis & butthead

  • HAHA xD

  • Jezza's face is the best!

  • top gear is a joke now... they should end the show on a high note whilst everyone still watches... otherwise people will get bored of the "acting stupid" act all the time.

  • @Airr91 don't watch it then... most people still choose HUAYRAAA.. over: the huayra has 5 pound of torque and all that stuff.

    PEOPLE LIKE TO LAUGH.

  • The Huayra, pronounced "why-rah," is named after the ancient Andean wind god Aymara Huayra Tata.

  • Horacio Pagani actually presented the car at the Art Center College of Desig in Pasadena just yesterday for it's North American premier. Apparently it's suposed to be something like "wire-ah."

  • @wuXanaXan You are pretty much correct.

    Its pronounced "Wai-Rah"

  • Zonda => Extremly fast wind at patagonia

Huayra=> God of Wind for Quechuas

Horacio Pagani was born in argentina, thats whay he names his cars like this

  • Why is this so hard to pronounce for Brits?

    Just say Who-I-Ra.

  • Who -Ay- Rah

If you Know Spanish it isn't that hard to pronounce. You just have to say it fast.

Sad that so many people butcher the name, not just Top Gear.

"God of Wind" the meaning of the name fits it perfectly.

  • Pronounced WHY ERA

  • HOO AYE RUH!

  • to make it simpler its said hu ra or ha ra you know that cheer some people let out when they accomplish something hua ra

  • Maybe, according to the tradition of Horacio Pagani, like the pagani Zonda, the name is for the wind, because in the Argentinian Patagonia there´s a fast and hot wind capable of make a bus capsize that´s named "Viento Zonda".

  • It´s true, I´ve watched the show and laugh all the time with those guys, I put the comment in order to let people know the origin of that word, anyway, I´m not sure if it was for the word Huayra = wind or like an homenage to the Ford Huayra, a legendary race car from the 60´s made in Argentina, search for it in you tube.

  • Es comprensible que no lo pueda pronunciar un ingles debido a su escasa riqueza lingüística. Realmente la combinación perfecta diseño latino y motor aleman.

  • @Ogiercba totalmente de acuerdo con vos cordobés.

  • Jeremy ur an idiot just because the name does not fit into ur bloody british phonetics. Try a bit of outside culture fagoot and learn to pronounce the names of good cars! It's ur F****ing job! Learn to pronounce the names of cars from countries where the actual GOOD cars come from.

  • @chenksR Then why would it even be called Huayra even in Britain rather than something else? Go onto translate and you'll find Huayra doesn't mean anything.

  • @chenksR I sense anger coming from you, why you mad brah?

  • @gomez1323 Lolz I dunno just pissed off at the racist pricks in britain which give me a hard time.

  • @chenksR Dude, have you never seen Top Gear before? They don't care. Part of the reason that people love the British Top Gear is because Jeremy, James, and Richard screw almost everything up. They make sexist, racist, and nationalistic jokes all the time. They just like to have fun, and screw around, and that makes them funny. It's what they're known for...

Have you seen their Caravan holiday episode? Jeremy hid an AK-47 in the Caravan because he was going to be locked in the Caravan with James.

  • @TheWatzitooya Sure I have. I know what those presenters are like, typical englishmen. What I am annoyed about is how the english in general mock other cultures languages/names just because the phonetics of the two languages are different and they can't pronounce it. I mean what's sp hard? It's pronounceds why-era? You have a point though, yes the racism is part of the charm of the show but te atitude of the english public needs to change in general. Right now it's reflected upon these guys.

  • Is Hu-why-ra really so hard to pronounce?

  • @MrFalconfly nope, but it's easy to make fun of... i guess.

  • "It`s the noise people make, when they are sick in the passenger seat - buuuaaaahhh!" Hehehehe LOOOOL

  • Top Gear are simply the best!

  • Great clip...but the Huayra ist a great car - I love the Pagani cars. I wish I had the money to buy one ;)

  • press 1,5,9

  • it sounds chinese to me...

  • I seen one of these Zondas during testing awhile back with a SL63 AMG Black in Colorado. Both were all black and the Zonda you could tell wasnt quite finished yet. Amazing sound of them winding through the mountains though. I believe it was high altitude testing.

  • 4k views :D
