@pinwormx Yes i am right with you on that. I am buying a N900 but i might just have a regular cell phone. I go to the gym a lot and it would kill me if my N900 was stolen or lost.
what are MID actually used for ? it seems a very specific target market ? i mean you have super smartphones like andorid, palm iphone etc then you have netbooks, what is a MID used for ?
in a professional environment they make sense. think about the umid bz (former umid m2) or viliv n5. It's a little clamshell computer in your pocket and you can do everything you are able to do with a desktop (forget about photoshop or recent 3d games though)

I'd rather have a normal cell phone and a separate handheld device. Sometimes I get tired of holding a brick to my head for a call.
