Now, posting an entire season of a TV series without paying for it is piracy, and it's not necessarily fair, but SOPA is definitely not restoring order.

The bill is for anti- piracy what's wrong with that? People are complaining the economy is bad, the internet is part of that reason. What they aren't doing is wrong, it needs to be done, the people of america are becoming corrupt and the internet has corruption on it. People of America need to be stopped. @nnnmmmable While I agree that stopping piracy isn't a bad thing, this bill will basically make it illegal to post anything on the internet that's under copyright, as an example, any kind of walk through or tutorials for video games, sports highlights, and music can be removed instantly because they're under copyright. Now, posting an entire season of a TV series without paying for it is piracy, and it's not necessarily fair, but SOPA is definitely not restoring order.

These people need to experience a human on human type of piracy which is getting robbed at gunpoint on the street, that's why this bill is going to be passed no doubt in my mind, supporting corruption isn't right. The things people do on the internet, the piracy, it just isn't right, if people boycott they support losing money in the econ.

Any form of art shouldn't be about money, for that matter, and a bill basically claiming that it should be and now you'll get in trouble for expression that it's not is downright stupid.

If the artist is not getting any record sales the company loses money plus the artist loses popularity and therefore the artist doesn't become as famous as other artist who are luckily having people buy their records and then get good record sales because of it.

Ex: A small start-up company can get shutdown immediately by big corporation by just claiming that the company is infringing their copyright. They dont even need to prove it! It will kill more job that it saves!

The economy is indeed bad, but do you really think this bill will save more jobs than jobs it will kill if it passes? The economy that drives the market today are from technology and its lifeline is the Internet. China can get away with its own "Sopa" because of cheap labor and actual copying of products. US has none of these.
