I didn't like the game. I like to be in the "Cockpit" and not in 3rd person. And the Off-Mode was the worst, with the camery staying static.

I would get hawx. Better graphics, and VERY fun gameplay. In ace combat 6, it is just like the others, except better graphics and a different story.

In HAWX, it adds to the gameplay with the assistance off mode, and has even better graphics than AC6. It is something new, in a VERY good way. Need I say it again? GET HAWX! (of course, this is just my opinion; some people like the way AC6 is.)

Google "d2dx9_39.dll" and download it.

Put the*.dll file into the game folder.

It should work then. I had the same problem with many games (HAWX, NFS ProStreet, Psychonauts ...)

i only know that on the 360 you either double tap the left or right triggers, or say "assistance" into the mic.

On the PS3 tap R2 or L2 (either one) until it goes from assiatance On to assistance OFF. To switch back to assistance ON, repeat the process (tap R2 or L2).

yep there is a cockpit vbeiw but its not like fsx or anything like that. Plus the only thing that moves in the f18 hornet is the bank meter.

Its a multiAA and AAspect or however its spelled

Multi-AA is/are the missiles that lock onto 1 to 4 air targets. AAspect is the missile that locks onto aircraft at any angle.

The latter is in my view better than the MultiAA, because the Multi is easy to evade.

Well yeah, if its less than 6 on 1 all missiles [Except RG] are easy to evade.

I never used RG on aircraft targets, do you just keep the target in the circular recticle thing?

yup, its useful when you are protecting something and enemy bombers are too far from you and too close to the thing you protect

Yeah, I tried it on the Washington level, and it was good on the first three MiG's that were too far, but once I got into their range the RG missile was worthless.

well you have to close to 12 km, then switch to off assistance and slow down as much as you can, that way youll destroy them without getting too close

in online, you have to be pretty skilled to keep the target in the circle while some one is targeting you. I tried it and I kept getting shot down

Depends on the plane and weapon set. Ussualy you only have around 60-90 Multi AA rockets. Otherwise you have 150-250 missiles.

I uses the All Aspect Missles the dont do much damage but they sure are handy in surprisng people

if you look in the little box in hte bottom right corner theres a number between the 4 missile pictures, and the pictures fill up after you fire, like reloading
