@507Films plastic premiers turned to crap a long time ago after they stopped producing danger girl. I regret to say the good plastics are pretty much extinct so I'd go for an ambition if I was you

I'm just going to point this out. First off, I feel that there is way more control with plastic boards; but only if there the right kind. The last plastic one I bought was from Premier, and the thing has no control, the sponge grip doesn't grip at all, and the board has no flex. Wood is also terrible weak when it comes to snow, water, and cold weather. In short, Premier makes terrible boards, so I pray to god that someday they will resell the older plastic models.

usually the shape is similar to skateboards but I ride longer boards so it's quite a bit different. otherwise the tail and nose shape might be a little steeper than on a regular skate to give you more pop, but believe me it works like a charm!!

yes I did get sponsor by Ambition Snowskates (see the link in the description of the vid) but that's the result of a long process and if you wanna get sponsored nowadays you need to have a good bag of tricks because the level is constantly getting better... however if you think you're good enough send in a sponsor me tape to Alex Blais (ambition owner) and hopefully if you're good enough you'll get a spot on the team.

it's all personnal preference so I would suggest trying both if you have a chance, but if you're not sure what to buy and you want the best quality available in terms of snowskate, I'd say go for an Ambition Wood with no further hesitations!!

and nice job i went snowskating for my first time with my friend yesterday the best trick i could do is a kickflip and i can only do it on flat its harder then it looks and it was a pain cause some snow was too thin and some was too thick

the proper way to get good speed for me is to run very fast holding the board by the nose in my left hand and calculate my footsteps to hit a good "drop zone" (the spot where I release my board from my hand and put it on the ground). Now the key for balance is to put your front foot in a slight angle so your heels dont hang off, put your back foot on the tail but dont apply alll your weight on it yet, just stay focused, reposition your front foot as you approach the obstacle, and then pop!!!

the revolution boards are incredibly durable because of the quality base. I will probably last you for at least 2-3 seasons if you dont beat it up too much. believe me you wont regret your choice, and as soon as you'll actually see the board you'll understand why people who bought it are so stoked to finally get a quality product that will last.

well to be frank it's the first time I hear about the fortus Destroyer, but I know I've had 4 fortuses in my life and broke all of them in just a mather of time doing gaps and other stuff, so I would recommend them to anybody that wants to start riding seriously. however if it's your first board it's not too bad, but you would definitely be better starting off with an Ambition wood if you have the money to buy one (or just ask one for christmas!) hurry up cuz they'll be sold out in no time!!

it's a premier danger girl but it's not available for sale anymore (since 2002 actually) and all other premier plastics I know of are crap. If you want a solid board you should definitely consider buying an Ambition wood (just go on the Ambition Snowskates website and you'll see it) or if you're able to wait a bit I'm supposed to have my own Ambition plastic model this year so if that works out, you'll probably be able to buy one too by the end of the season

it is actually a lot harder to control than a skateboard at first, but when you get to master the fine art of direction and speed, you can do pretty much all you want and you wont get hurt as bad as if you bail on a skateboard. For ollies I dont think we're at a point where we can ollie as high as with skateboards, but my friend Alex Blais did some pretty impressive ollies 2 years ago, and they must have been like waist high or somthing! thanks for your comment btw
