No, I attended a concert where Sylvie Carbonel played Brahms 117:1-2 at Musical Academy in Sthlm 1964, it was really a remarcabel performance where most of the theachers sat in tears, and me too. She, Sylvie was a young beatiful lady playing heartbreaking... She lives in France and arranges concerts. Google!
Kathen plays with a rare sense of breath, of space between the phrases. The result is sublime.
