The three different themes that Morricone used in this film are what made this movie so good. I couldn't imagine even wanting to watch this movie again without this powerful music. It electrified me as a kid at the drive-in, and i'm still not tired of it. The morricone themes in all three of the Eastwood flics are all powerful scores that make these movies classics. But this was when Morricone & Nicolai worked together, kind of like Robert E. Lee & Stonewall Jackson's unbeatable collaberation.

@super8sooty - This is the original track- listen closely when Clint, Indio, and the rest of his band appear outside of Aqua Caliente and discuss their next move.....which just happens to be Indio's decision to have Clint ride into town alone.
