@jayguy173 agree. but these 3.8 liter latest series has a map to use optimum 98octane (since their recommendation is 95 above) and me by adding these additives, in these hot places here, keeps me away from detonation and more. well not sure about a tuning tool so make it perform a better performance. sure it would give +15-20hp. that is something I'll search for but again not a perf car though :) my LS1 car I do my own tuning and runs higher spark timing values (based on 99-100 octane)
@monstermash1978 well that wasn't case really, and I didn't get his question...though the carburetor motors are around 90s...which he clearly explained well. so he didn't complain why you are :))
nice, love pajero's, but dont take it to the redline you'l see after a few days your engine will show problems like mine, n then its going to become very very very slow, like mine.
i have a mitsubishi montero sport 2007 and it's not fuel injected( it works with carburetor ) ... plus it has the same engine that the new 3.0L 188HP pajero has ..
slow for a 3.8L :| I have a touareg 3.0 V6 TDi and it's much faster

high octane does nothing if its not tuned in compression and spark timing wise
