  • Followed vid step by step. Came out perfect, air pocket and all. So easy I'll never buy pita bread again. Thanks so much.

  • But your pita does not create air pocket which is what the pita is named for. You should have rolled the dough into balls, covered them with a towel and let them rest again for 5 minutes and then cooked them on upside down cookie sheet, not a deep dish pan. That is why they were so flat. When you use the deep pan, the heat has to work harder to do the work because of the depth of the pan. Just sayin'.

  • very good

  • I just watched a how-to on pita bread that was eleven minutes long. I learned more in 2 minutes here! Nice video.

  • 500 degrees Celsius ??

  • @sarahbajju No, 500º Kelvin.

  • i love pita!!!

  • pita is good with döner ;D

  • why doesn't it get a nice big pocket?

  • @DyleAlano09 no. need a processor blade or dough hook. it'll get caught up inside.

  • Absolutely beautiful bread! And your instructions were so easy to follow! Why don't you have your own cooking show? Can't imaqine you could have made this recipe any simpler for the home cook! Wonderful work!

  • whats the song called in the background?

  • I'd like to try doing a pita bread using Chia Flour. Also, maybe substitute macadamia nut oil for the olive oil, and use generous amounts of black cumin seeds (ala naan). For the sugar.. I'd like to use stevia but I'm not sure if the yeast will work with it. Is my Frankenstein pita idea half baked?

  • thank u. ill try to cook now!

  • great video I love this recipe

  • This was great, I just made it. Put some on top of the stove and some in the oven to see the difference because I remember my mom's friend used to always make them on top of the stove when I was younger.
