So overall John does seem to be the more advanced. But don't be so negative to comparing musicians, it's the similarities that spot the differences.

OMG I love this song. The way he sung it almost made me cry. It was so deep and emotional. He looked like he was gonna cry towards the end. I can't say this for most musicians, but he sings amazing live. I had almost had an eargasm near the beginning.

When music becomes THAT much of my life, I look at it to make income - and to conform to what more people enjoy, even if it doesn't sound "exactly like it used to." He still has his great voice, and a great band backing him.
