  • 1:18 best...

  • why do alot of people hate the olsen twins i think their amazing even if they do seem abit weird

  • @mizzrandome They're creepy looking, have over 100 million dollars between them and the one with the shifty eyes probably killed Heath Ledger.

  • @80sCommercialVault is the one with the shifty eyes marykate coz i heard people accused her of killing her boyfriend and they where amazing on full house and i love their movies

  • OMG! Dave Thomas! I love him!!!! I remember always wanting to go to Wendy's just so I could meet him. I never did :( but I will always remember how awesome he was!

  • Candace Cameron almost resembles Anna Paquin...just my imagination I'm sure.

  • 25 cents for a pack of gum! now its a $1.50 - those were the days.

  • I widh i could live in that time im 14

  • Wendy's is still the same <3

  • I didn't wanna grow up, either, but it happened. Now my children are Toys-R-Us kids!!

  • Not Eddie his first word was HUH

  • So for the marijuana PSA they admit to getting a 14 year old high for their test or the test was made up? >.>

  • I had that Magnavox Explorer when I was a teenager - I got in 1991, when I was 14. In fact, I still have it in storage, and I have the floppies that I used to store the word processing files I composed on it. :)

  • Had such a HUGE crush on Alyssa Milano...guess I still do, she was the only reason I used to watch "Who's the Boss"

  • fwiday Aww soo cuuute

  • what happened to Wendy's value menu...?

  • @WumWip it changed sizes and expanded menu choices recently. the biggie size was dropped from the menu probably due to obesity and to encourage people to think healthy. personally i call bs b/c the chain bought arby's in 2008

  • @Stephie2007

    That's awful. Cheap jerks

  • lol I wanted a "Lost and found" Koala when I was little...but I never did :(

  • WTF, 'The Explorer' home computer? I don't remember that. Must have been very short-lived, like Sinclair, only worse.

  • @RevolutionOfCG The Sinclair computers may have been short-lived in the US, but they were very popular in many parts of western Europe during the 1980s. Plus, some, like the Spectrum, were just great, even with the "dead-flesh" keyboard.

  • Volvos were very safe vehicles, but very ugly...

  • Jamie Lee Curtis looked hot with long hair. These days she looks like a man.

  • RIP Dave Thomas

  • HOLD THE BUS!!!!! off key at 5:29

  • ALERT!! ALERT!! DOLLY PARTON ON THE LEFT AT 1:02!!!!!!

  • these aired the day my brother was born, awesome! lol.

  • 8:43 Tony Jay?

  • Luvs Diapers: "Should I have changed you before you fell asleep? Nah, these pink things don't seem to leak" Good campaign for baby hygiene. Don't change them until the diaper overflows!

  • Wow, I don't think you can but ANYTHING on videocassette anymore. It's all either DVDs or digital downloads.

  • I don't even wanna go talk about that Mita commercial, lol.

  • I hate that commercials don't have fun jingles anymore. Commercials are too darn serious nowadays...they were always so much fun back in the day!

  • Don't forget, you'll also get to experience death when you watch "Bambi".

  • Did you have a Showbiz Pizza Place or Chuck E Cheese in your town in the 80's.

  • There's a Chuck E. Cheese around 30 miles from where I live but I don't think we ever went there. I've never seen a Showbiz Pizza in the state of California.

  • @starrfisher

We had Showbiz in the early 80's and then Chuck E. Cheese in the later 80's.

  • @RevolutionOfCG we had showbiz in the early 80's we got chuck e cheese in the mid 90's. i never saw a showbiz commercial but i sure see a lot of chuck e cheese commercials. i perfer showbiz over chuck e cheese any day when it comes to the entertainment because i have never played showbiz games.

  • @starrfisher Yes.

  • @starrfisher Showbiz in Chicago

  • Soooo....bad drivers buy volvo?

  • I agree with you on those "Little Lost and Found" toys. I mean, you get a critter that looks absolutely miserable no matter what you do for it. We're having some fun now!!

  • Oooo Full House commercial! :D

  • I like the lUvs Deluxe diaper commercial. Does anyone have the one where the boy says at the end "I like that diaper?" Who is the woman in that diaper commercial? If you have any more let me know please.

  • oh goddddd shredded wheat always looked so good in the commercials and when i got suckered into buying it, i was painfully disappointed! it was horrible! lol

  • I know! It looked like frosted nummy goodness, but it tasted like dry,nasty....sawdust! Yeah, thats what I was looking for!

  • sawdust aaaahahahaha!

  • @vivien44 I must be odd. I loved shredded wheat when I was a kid

  • These were recorded exactly 20 years ago.

  • In addition to those two Nabisco Shredded Wheat commercials from the '80s, there's another crazy one where everybody falls through the floor after finding out their cereals have salt, fat, sugar, etc. in them. Only the Shredded Wheat guy remains... lol

  • The model in the Bounty ad looks possibly mixed or bi-racial to me.

And I believe Bounty candy bars, within the U.S., are only available in NY and here in Chicago.

  • @barber747

They are available everywhere, dude! Even up here in Canada!

  • I'm disappointed. I was looking for the actual "Ugly but safe" Volvo commercial. This wasn't it.

  • I was watching the Real Ghostbusters by then. How'd the Halloween special slip by me?

  • the wrigley one killed me

  • Wendy's crap now that Dave's gone...won't be the same again.

  • I don't wanna grow up cause' baby if I did I couldn't be a Toys-R-Us Kid.

    LOL!

  • i remember when i was a kid i thought i'd be big and strong if i ate a lot of shredded wheat. I didn't think i'd ever stop shittin' lol memories

  • I dun wanna grow up!! Toy R Us' ad is awesome!:D

  • yes he did

  • Man, not the overly dramatic Wrigley's commercial again.. Ahhh.. behold, they made it shorter. LOL

  • I recognized EVERYONE of these commercials. Total memories of my childhood. I never thought twenty years later I'd actually enjoy watching these commercials lolol. They aired on KHJ Los Angeles 9, and WPIX New York 11.

  • wtf ever happened to galoob?

  • Bought out by Hasbro.

  • I think Hasbro is going for complete Monopoly over all toy/game companies. No pun intended.

  • And now we're looking at legalizing Marijuana! As they say, "the times they are a-changin!"

Love the "There's room in Kevin Arnold's crotch." thing. Lol!

Thank you for sharing these comercials!

  • It's about time. The only thing cannabis ever threatened was a bag of Doritos.

  • 2:19 LOL

  • RIP Dave Thomas we still remember you!

  • I miss him too, because the franchise has been in a spiral since his death. Look at the size of that "jr" bacon cheese! It's not even close to that size now, but I guess they can't sell a 1/4 lb burger for $.99 anymore.

  • I`t could be how it use to with the shape of our economy. Just look at gas prices!

  • OMG, Toys 'R Us is subliminally telling our kids to have dinosaur train sex!!!

Christ these subliminal advertising conspiracies irritate me.

  • subliminal message toys r us is telling kids to hump dinosaurs on trains something must be done

  • My favorites were definitely #2 because Dave Thomas was awesome (RIP), #4 (damn that's catchy), and #22 (because it was really strange).

I always thought that Matchbox paled in comparison to Hot Wheels.

  • ha ha i dont wanna grow up but if i did i couldnt be a toysarus kid=)

    ha ha ha its true

  • Is that King Kong Bundy in the explorer commercial

  • @acetrain81 yes, it was king kong bundy in the commerical

    RIP, Megabyte.

  • hah the explorer computer..thats what im using right now

  • Lost and Founds! My sisters and cousins had those!!!

  • damn i feel old now

  • i know right...this sucks lol

  • don't we all

  • Damn, I miss Dave Thomas in Wendy's Commercials

  • Yeah ienjoyhoagies that was King Kong Bundy on the explorer commercial. It looks like he was playing either an alien or a man from the future. We are now in 2009, just six years away from 2015, and we are not even close to what Back To The Future pictured we would be.

  • I've remembered all the commercials in your videos so far, but I have to admit I do not remember the Explorer.

From description: "Volvo (They're ugly but safe!)

They should have used that in the commercial. LMAO

  • Well Volvo is swedish

  • I miss Dave :(

  • I also miss Dave Thomas.

  • Me three..Wendy's quality/quantity went to crap since he died.

  • commercials and tv shows back then were soo much better and funnier..

  • 1:17 lol XD

  • lol that Lost&Founds commercial is so manipulative

  • why is it that in canada everything thats made my nabisco in the us is called 'christie' their logo is in the same spot and is almost identical, but ive never understood why. whats up with it?

  • That's because Christie is the Canadian division of Nabisco.

  • but we used to have nabisco in canada. what happened??

  • And those Nabisco Shredded Wheat cereals, this was before Nabisco was bought out by Post cereals, Post is best known for Grape Nuts, Pebbles cereals, Sugar Crisps and a few others. They don't it Nabisco Shredded Wheat anymore, now it's Post Shredded Wheat. No question about it!

  • "word processor" lol thats nice...

u dont remember that show with Richard Lewis? I do..the only reason why really is i remember he would always grab his head and talk and he had long black hair..LOL

    god i love u

  • I LOVED TGIF!!!!! I looked forward to it every week.

  • there was a mental hospital called Charter Grove by where we lived and we'd sing "I don't wanna grow up, I'm a Charter Grove kid, where they put me in a cushioned room because I flipped my lid!" to the Toys R Us jingle..

we were fucked up little kids..

  • OH MY GOD! THATS HILARIOUS!!

  • when I was little the only thing that I thought every time I saw that Nabisco Shredded Wheat commercial: was how the hell did all the things what were upside down didn't felt on the other guy's head.

  • Was that Dynamo from The Running Man in the Explorer commercial?

  • Thanks a lot for these awesome ads. I missed those from the 80's including promos like "Full House" and "Family Matters" which was usually shown on ABC as part of TGIF as shown on KGO-TV out in San Francisco, WABC-TV (channel 7) in my area used to run the same thing along with the promos and stuff.

I love the Crest ad where they had the "Bambi" VHS promotion. I still my 1989 first VHS print of "Bambi" in my collection, but I have it on DVD.

  • "semi-Canadian"???? wtf?

  • wow that mita copiers commercial really was weird.

  • Is that Hunter Tylo in the Naturalizer commercial?

  • Oh, no! The baby wet itself! Now we'll never get a home loan!

  • the one with the pot, not using your brain, no shit! it's when you wanna relax and spend time with friends for recreation! not for a regular basis of daily activities!

  • No kidding hahaha

  • Geez, I remember most of these.

  • i don't wanna grow up for baby if i did. i wouldn't be a toys 'r' us kid

  • On the Volvo commercial did one of the names on the letters say Tim Engel?

  • THANK YOU!!! I was looking for that Wrigleys gum commercial for sooo long, its the best!!! I love the song, Share a little piece of America!! Awesome brings back memories

  • those "lost and founds" toys are so freaking depressing.

The kid plays with them by....drying their tears?

    Wtf???

  • must.... go... to....toys.....R.....us

  • I remember these!!! 8D

  • I don't wanna grow up...I wanna be a toys R us kids!

  • I think watching commercials from 20 years ago gives us big egos because we see how far we've come...not that there's anything wrong with that

I mean look at the last commercial- that computer would have been top of the line!

  • lost and founds are really creepy in the window awake in the bed and all
