I just got it today, and I love it. But that's coming from a pretty big fan of the first BioShock.

I haven't gotten too far in the single player campaign it has yet to disappoint me. Surprisingly, even the multiplayer is pretty good lol. Definitely not as much as COD multiplayer, but it's fun.

well i've been playing it today. the big disappointment for me is that the big daddy's armor is really weak, and splicers pose just as much in 2 as they did in the first one. also, other than the weapons, everything is the same. the environment, the plasmids, the enemies, everything is the same. its just bioshock with a fresh coat of paint. its good, but i can't shake the feeling that this is almost exactly the same as the first game.

i played fps's on both consoles and on the pc and i hafta say... its pretty much the same lol. the only diff is the controllers which would be a personal preference AND the better graphics for the pc. ID get the pc but its too expensive :(

If you're playing a single player mode, then either the PC or consoles are fine... and maybe the console versions give a better experience there. For online play though, PC versions will always be a stronger force. The reason being that you are given far more freedom with the quick speed of turning since FPS games generally use the mouse to do that.That's not to say console online play isn't good, just that you arguably get the complete experience with online play on the PC.

in my opinion....RPGs should stay as RPGs and FPS should stay as FPS. mixing the two genres doesn't work that well, for example i kinda enjoyed Fallout 3, but couldn't play more than 10 hours; some guys play over 100hours! its ridiculus! FPS=Halo or CoD RPG=Final Fantasy or Pokemon!
