This is awful, why did they not go with Jeff Van Dyck, the guy is a genius. I miss the greatness of Medieval , Medieval 2, and of course Rome Total War. In fact, I found ETW to be a hard pill to swallow already, being in the most boring period in world history, but this just takes the cake, and I'm not spending money on a game like this or supporting CA's endeavours when they release shit like this.

ETW music is very complex - what I mean, is that I can hear how much work team put into OST. And IMHO ETW OST (yessssssss...that looks funny ) is great!

this music is perfect for ETW, M2TW music is perfect for M2TW. like either more than another, but dont compare, or ill CHOP YOUR BALLS OFF...

but yes, i love ETW music, when it doesnt glitch out, napoleon should be awesome.

I think this music suits the period. It's not a matter of whether RTW of M2TW had superior music, theirs just suited their periods.

The music is completely different. You can't compare two completely different styles if you like one but don't like the other. I personally love the music from all the Total War games.

Well, yeah, but ETW's music is stedier. This is probobly so do to the fact, that 18th century soldiers marched slowely to the battlefield, while being shot at by artilery.

In the ancient times your march closely enough and then you run as hell towards the enemy.

My opinion-in the ancient times fighting was more actionbased.

u watched too many movies man. why do you think napoleon won so many battles? because his infantry lines suffered the fewest casualties while marching towards the enemy? hell no, there was strategy, and freaking much of it, involved. dont get ur picture from movies like the patriot and movies of that kind.

What happens when the Mughal Empire turns into a republic then goes to war with the Prussian Republic which controls almost (The Bristish isles and Russia are British) all of Europe and parts of India and America? The Prussians destroys the Mughals in 5 turns.

Awesome soundtrack. Makes you happy when you see your line infantry blow a volley at the enemy. Minus about this game is that you dont fight in the main cities but a bit ousite. Sucks. Any1 knows if they gonna change that?

sahell if youve ever seen a clip from vietnam, you would know how tactically tedious and boring urban warfare gets i.e. taking multiple days to advance over a single road. And these cities (allegedly) have populations ranging to the tens of millions, just getting over to your enemy would use your time right up. and with how narrow the streets were in the the 1700s, any kind of maneuver would be difficult if not impossible with all of the garrisoned units shooting at them from windows.

Im pretty sure there isnt language called fillipino. the official language of the philipines is english, but thats normally someones second language their. I have relatives from there and they speak tagalic

Filipino is just a synonym for Tagalog and the international name. The Philippines had two official languages; Filipino and English.

You can even ask these relatives of yours. It's Tagalog. Not Tagalic.

no, in each country there are soldiers and flags of other nations. If you buy total war in spain, you will see a spanish flag and soldier.

And the Philipines weren't even independent at the time of the game...

well yea...I bought my game in belgium and its in english but i can turn the language into french, german, spanish, dutch,...that won't be any different in other countries...
