@RHYMePRIMe yeah he is there was an episode of dog whisperer in the past that says daddy is redman's dog, and he stays with cesar whenever he is on tour but i think daddy does so great in the show thats why he is always with cesar
im crying like crazy knowing just now that daddy died..ive been watching daddy and cesar ..when my employer died last 2010..feb i wasnt able to watch the program thats why i am so shocked that daddy died omg .....i miss him badly...
@Buchstabensuppe75 .What Ceasar and Daddy showed to the world is that pitbulls aren't an inherently dangerous breed and given proper social skills(like all breeds need) are just any other dog, they have a totally undeserved reputation. Saying that, there are far too many people getting pitbulls for the wrong reasons, they get them as some sort of status symbol and tease and teach them to be aggressive. Society doesn't seem to address this issue, instead it demonises the breed.
Cesar is even cooler imo after seeing this. I didn´t realize that Daddy had died but it makes sense now that they show Junior instd who is also a sweetheart. I love watching Dog Whisperer, not just the training but the whole atmosphere is cozy in sme way, like Cesar I guess. Idk how good C`s training is compared to others but the results on the show speak for themselves. Someone commented on his language skill but besides a slight accent he`s quite eloquent and seems like a genuinely nice guy.
@CesarMillanMyHero Ceser is my hero , and everyone says my dog reminds them off Daddy - slow and peaceful , I was so ashamed he was not allowed to bring his Pitts to Ontario - I wanted him to cancel to prove a point
Ah man, it sucks when our little furry friends pass on. It's been about 3 years since my dog died and on a daily basis i still think about all the fun and silly things she use to do. Considered getting another dog but just couldn't do it in the end.
@IHateHorseSlaughter1 It is never easy, no matter how old a person might be, I'm sure it is not common that they truly desire to die, because otherwise they would commit suicide. And I'm sure the people who truly love them do not want them to die neither, whether they're 10 or a 100. But I understand what you mean.
@JGBlack true, it's sad either way.. I suppose depending on the person, you might find young and old death both tragic.. While I find both quite sad, but unexpected tragic and young death harder to overcome. :)

@TheChiquita95 - I'd like to see how you would rehabilitate a red-zone aggressive pitbull. He has dealt extremely well with the passing of Daddy. I watched all of his episodes and I feel as though I have grown up with Daddy. I can't believe he's gone :'( Well done Cesar!
Dogs aren't ignorant or racist. (Unless some ignorant racist human has taught their dog to be that way) Dogs are naturally attentative to their owner's wishes, and any breed of dog can learn virtually anything. (They are Man's best friend and protecter).
Cesar is one of the best Dog trainers in the World, and for what he knows and all that he shares, he is THE BEST ! Every dog owner should listen to this man's advice. How many ignorant dog owners I've witnessed say how stupid their dog is. Dog's aren't stupid at all. Daddy was a great dog...Not a pitbull, just a dog. Here, in Romania, owning a pitbull is Must if u want to be "cool". Every idiot has one. I don't have something against these dogs, it's just that in the wrong hands they cand be very dangerous. I love it when I see an educated pitbull walking along with his owner, playing with other dogs and so on... Romanian Pitbulls are killers....with a few exceptions...
yeah many people just say things even without using their head & heart. what matters what people believe you cant educate people most who dnt want to learn.
I was there for this, was freakin hard not to cry! Cesar even choked up...and he wore the jersey cause he was in edmonton and of course we're known as hockey nuts up here so in calgary he wore the flames.
Guess I have older episodes on the NG-channel here in The Netherlands then, cause Daddy was still there in the last episode I just watched...
Also, I was never one to think of Pitbulls as specifically the "baddest" dogs, I was a lot more cautious with German Shepherds and such.
But the program did change my mind about dogs in general, how you have to discipline them as a person, just like Cesar says he has to train the people behind the dogs.
I would have given anything to have been able to pet daddy. (that's really saying something too because I HATE pits. I'm so frightened of them it's irrational) But Daddy... I so badly wanted to spend a little time playing with him.
I'm sure that was hard for him to talk about in public for a while after such a loss. 16 years together is a long time. It is great that Cesar is using his Pitt Bulls as ambassadors to people and other dogs as well. Keep up the good work Cesar and ignore these people who talk bad about you on public forums. Forgive them because their parents taught them no manners as children...kind of like a puppy with no training.
A beautiful, beautiful man! Daddy & Cesar were partnered up for a reason- 1st and formost- to educate the world that a pitbull can be every bit as centered as any other breed.
Daddy died sometime february right..? my dog died few months after. He'd right tho, i want to honour my late dog by doing good not just for other dogs, but also doing good for humanity
I agree with Cesar. I'm slowly learning dog psychology and i want to learn more from it. I had a dog for almost seven years, and she was a rescue dog and was the gentlest dog ever, and loved kids and wouldn't hurt a fly but she was abused then starved by previous owners.. we gave her the best years of her life, and we got her July 1st, 2004.. She ended up dying June 30th, 2011. I miss her everyday.. but in memory of my dog, i am taking care of my new one.. another rescue dog. only dogs i take
Cesar Millan is the very best. He had mastered the art of animal Psychology, while training people to care for there dogs. People do not understand the language that their own dog is trying to communicate. The first revelation to most dog owners is that their dog is NOT HUMAN. They are not babies nor are they children to be trained. NO, they are DOGS. Cesar has majored on this and he knows how to communicate with them. Time and again He says, You must learn the Common Assertive Energy...
@PastorSye Hey, I agree with what you say.. but just one small thing.. its not common assertive energy.. it might sound like that with his accent, but its calm and assertive energy....
I don't know who the hell would "dislike" this video. Maybe you don't like him or you want to criticize his technique or whatever your problem is you're most likely just a miserable person. To you i say, he's doing more than you are to help the world!
@tonyinfinity I have a dog who happens to be a mix of boxer and pitbull, he is the best dog ever, my girlfriend has a pitbul and he is nothing but awesome, they both aren't aggresive, my dog even sleeps with cats, so the people that dislike this video is because of the ignorance and the stereotype they have, poor people
@tonyinfinity You can say that again! He is one WONDERFUL person, truly,a gift from God. And he really brought up the dog training to a higher level, thru understanding the dogs needs and his psychology. I love him!
@GoodRedBlackRatio exactly. Also, when positive reinforcement only trainers try and rehabilitate dogs, they rely on "distracting" the dog when it is behaving badly. That means using something like a meatball or a noise or something to try and get the dog to stop what it's doing. Imagine dangling a meatball calling "here boy!" as your pitbull tries to kill someone's child? Please. Cesar's methods are not only effective, they're actually realistic.
Also, it is true many trainers are successful in TRAINING dogs without using Cesar's particular methods (although at the core, the mentality behind all these methods are almost identical), but how many of them have REHABILITATED red zone pit bulls, rottweilers, german shepherds, etc like Cesar has? Watch Dog Whisperer, many people hire trainers, go to vets, and they all fail. Cesar brings the dog to his center for a couple weeks or if he has to a couple months, and they are rehabilitated.
@Specter302 As someone who's spent hundreds on professional dog trainers, I can tell you first hand they don't work. Not for lack of follow through. I hired my local "Bark Busters" trainer, who's advice was to not take the dog for any walks for WEEKS until the dog was responding to the training methods indoors (which were bullshit). So the dog starts going crazy, getting fat, and learned no social skills.
Got national geo, watched cesar, applied - his techniques work pretty much instantly.
@Specter302 Lol. I know many pit dogs who were abused, neglected and fighters that were rehabilitated with positive training methods. If anything his methods can scare dogs even worse.
People overreact to the fact that his methods often involve touching the dog. That's not the only thing he does, he is open to ALL techniques, he only cares about the end result: a happy, well behaved, well balanced dog. If you achieve that through clicker/treat training, or through touching and correcting, what does it matter? If you saw Cesar's pack of dogs and tried to tell me they were unhappy, scared dogs, I'd have to tell you to open your eyes.
@Specter302 they do indeed - my local humane society is VERY anti-cesar, showing all new employees a video they've made of cesar being 'cruel' by hitting and strangling dogs on his show - the reality is totally different from how they interpreted what they were seeing. Touching with finger tips & poking with heels is not painful to the dog at all - and the scenes where the dogs were being strangled? anyone actually watching the show sees the dog jump up and swing around by it's own accord....
@crawford8991 - I would almost guarantee that when he was in Vancouver on Oct. 27 & 28th, 2010, Mr. Millan would have been spotted sporting a sweet Canucks Jersey with "Millan" on the back ;) Its really not that he loves the Edmonton Oilers persei... he wanted to show his appreciation to Edmonton, and create a good impression. I think it shows alot about his character, and shows us that he appreciates our love for hockey :)
We love you daddy!! Make sure u rest in peace. From all the episodes I watched ok tv with u in them. U made peace, u were the balance between life and death In caesar.
RIP Daddy ! and when Cesar talks about suffering he doesn't sound fake like other celebs. He has been there he has seen it and he recovered. Live a long life Mr Millan !
A person can see the tears well up in his eyes, but man,i take my hat off to you Cesar for not braking out in tears man, respect and R.I.P daddy millan :( <3
Its ridiculous how some people are attacking Cesar even though all he has is good intention. He has helped countless of people and dogs with issues and yet he's being bashed for something he is doing full heartedly. Its sad really. Don't give up Cesar.
Awwweee!!! RIP Daddy!! You can tell that Cesar is still really emotional about it. :( I think anyone who wants to own a powerful breed should have to go through Cesar training, cause it breaks my heart when uneducated people get these powerful breeds, can't control them and end up having an extremely unhappy dog.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Many of these kind of guys training dogs, are using painful techniques to get control of the animal, like kicks to sensible zones of the body, that is sad, people thinks is a good guy on TV show, but is not showing the real time of training and the torture of the animal, both psicological and phisical.
@nopochoclos My suggestion is don't start picking apart things that you don't like about him or his techniques. Instead, use the parts that work for you & your dog and move on. You may perceive something as harsh treatment, but the reality is some dogs need firmer discipline than others - same as kids. Ironically enough, it is soft owners who need someone like cesar. There are LOTS of techniques out there, you don't need to stick to one- mix and match.
@nopochoclos You’re the kind of person that thinks any type of dog training that involves touching the dog is abuse/torture. It’s stupid obviously you have never seen it with your own eyes. If you think that this is abusive/torture, I have seen dogs beaten and kicked till they bleed. I have seen dogs and cats being thrown in trash can machines and crushed to death alive. That has scared me for life you don’t come here and say that this is torture till you have actually seen it with your own eyes
@nopochoclos since when does he kick the dog? I have NEVER seen cesar kick a dog, he touches with his foot but doesn't kick, i touch my dog with my foot to distract her when she goes for another dog, he diesn't use electric collars he just touches and distracts, yep totally painful i agree -.- cos daddy looks like such an unhappy dog :\ haha people like you know nothing
@DeathKitty123456 I know dog trainers for over 15 years, none hit the dogs or give them the so-called "touch" you can say any veterinarian, hit or play as you say in the soft areas of the stomach of the dog is equal to you den with the heel on your testicles, is a sensitive area and resulting in pain, now if your ignorance can not understand what pain is I recommend you see when you hit stop or play as you say the animal's soft spots that cause pain to do what he wants.
@nopochoclos it doesn't have to be a soft spot, often if the dog is large he touches the neck or shoulder with his hand to distract t and i have a horse too and people dont shout at me for touching his sides in soft spots to get him to move foreward when i ride, whats the difference? we put a bit in their mouth which we give a small pull to distract, again not cruel but the mouth is a sensitive area? Ceasar is one of the gentle trainers i have seen trainers yank choke chains to correct a dog...
@nopochoclos or use electric collars etc, he doesn't do this, he has used a vibrating collar once on a dog that kept biting tyres on moving vehicles only because nothing else worked and this dog was going to kill itself, i am not saying he is perfect, no trainer is (except monty roberts in the horse world lol he is amazing) and he will have some bad points but so does every trainer, victoria stillwell for example she uses food and positive reinforcement but i doubt she would suceed with...
@DeathKitty123456 No need to do this, these are your techniques, there are good and there are pessimistic, as they train horses or other animals.
Please do not offend anyone and try to use empathy and watch from the side of the animal that suffers pain at being beaten in their soft spots, whether human, it is not necessary to change their behavior, I tell you that crie Dobermanns for many years and never had to hit anyone.
@nopochoclos Before you rant on Cesar and his "techniques". First learn the difference between dog psychology and training. There is a BIG difference. His way is through a dogs perspective or like their ancestry the wolf. Cesar use kicks, touch, etc because to snap the dog out of focus, you expect him to go down on his knees and bite or pin down the dog with his own mouth. But if he was a dog, he would have bit the other dog until submission. His way works better then ALL other dog handlers.
sucks when a dog dies. I prefer dogs to people!

Awh, he died?
Guess I have older episodes on the NG-channel here in The Netherlands then, cause Daddy was still there in the last episode I just watched...
Also, I was never one to think of Pitbulls as specifically the "baddest" dogs, I was a lot more cautious with German Shepherds and such.
But the program did change my mind about dogs in general, how you have to discipline them as a person, just like Cesar says he has to train the people behind the dogs.
And also that it depends on character.
DamageIncM 2 months ago
Daddy changed my mind about pits as well.
Well, not all pits.... just him.
I would have given anything to have been able to pet daddy. (that's really saying something too because I HATE pits. I'm so frightened of them it's irrational) But Daddy... I so badly wanted to spend a little time playing with him.

Cesar doesn't educate the dogs, he educates the owners and does whatever they were supposed to be doing, but this time, right.
There are no violent dogs, only violent owners.

I miss her everyday.. but in memory of my dog, i am taking care of my new one.. another rescue dog. only dogs i take
XxAllannissxX 3 months ago
Cesar Millan is the very best. He had mastered the art of animal Psychology, while training people to care for there dogs. People do not understand the language that their own dog is trying to communicate. The first revelation to most dog owners is that their dog is NOT HUMAN. They are not babies nor are they children to be trained. NO, they are DOGS. Cesar has majored on this and he knows how to communicate with them. Time and again He says, You must learn the Common Assertive Energy...
PastorSye 3 months ago
@PastorSye Hey, I agree with what you say.. but just one small thing.. its not common assertive energy.. it might sound like that with his accent, but its calm and assertive energy....

marcostott 3 months ago

Specter302 4 months ago
@Specter302 As someone who's spent hundreds on professional dog trainers, I can tell you first hand they don't work. Not for lack of follow through. I hired my local "Bark Busters" trainer, who's advice was to not take the dog for any walks for WEEKS until the dog was responding to the training methods indoors (which were bullshit). So the dog starts going crazy, getting fat, and learned no social skills.
Got national geo, watched cesar, applied - his techniques work pretty much instantly.
GoodRedBlackRatio 4 months ago
@Specter302 Lol. I know many pit dogs who were abused, neglected and fighters that were rehabilitated with positive training methods. If anything his methods can scare dogs even worse.
RoscoTheRat 4 months ago
People overreact to the fact that his methods often involve touching the dog. That's not the only thing he does, he is open to ALL techniques, he only cares about the end result: a happy, well behaved, well balanced dog. If you achieve that through clicker/treat training, or through touching and correcting, what does it matter? If you saw Cesar's pack of dogs and tried to tell me they were unhappy, scared dogs, I'd have to tell you to open your eyes.
Specter302 4 months ago

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Many of these kind of guys training dogs, are using painful techniques to get control of the animal, like kicks to sensible zones of the body, that is sad, people thinks is a good guy on TV show, but is not showing the real time of training and the torture of the animal, both psicological and phisical.
nopochoclos 5 months ago

Haruhikittty 5 months ago 4
@nopochoclos since when does he kick the dog? I have NEVER seen cesar kick a dog, he touches with his foot but doesn't kick, i touch my dog with my foot to distract her when she goes for another dog, he diesn't use electric collars he just touches and distracts, yep totally painful i agree -.- cos daddy looks like such an unhappy dog :\ haha people like you know nothing
DeathKitty123456 4 months ago
@DeathKitty123456 I know dog trainers for over 15 years, none hit the dogs or give them the so-called "touch" you can say any veterinarian, hit or play as you say in the soft areas of the stomach of the dog is equal to you den with the heel on your testicles, is a sensitive area and resulting in pain, now if your ignorance can not understand what pain is I recommend you see when you hit stop or play as you say the animal's soft spots that cause pain to do what he wants.
nopochoclos 4 months ago
@nopochoclos it doesn't have to be a soft spot, often if the dog is large he touches the neck or shoulder with his hand to distract t and i have a horse too and people dont shout at me for touching his sides in soft spots to get him to move foreward when i ride, whats the difference? we put a bit in their mouth which we give a small pull to distract, again not cruel but the mouth is a sensitive area? Ceasar is one of the gentle trainers i have seen trainers yank choke chains to correct a dog...
DeathKitty123456 4 months ago
@nopochoclos or use electric collars etc, he doesn't do this, he has used a vibrating collar once on a dog that kept biting tyres on moving vehicles only because nothing else worked and this dog was going to kill itself, i am not saying he is perfect, no trainer is (except monty roberts in the horse world lol he is amazing) and he will have some bad points but so does every trainer, victoria stillwell for example she uses food and positive reinforcement but i doubt she would suceed with...
DeathKitty123456 4 months ago
@nopochoclos a red zone dog.
DeathKitty123456 4 months ago
@DeathKitty123456 No need to do this, these are your techniques, there are good and there are pessimistic, as they train horses or other animals.
Please do not offend anyone and try to use empathy and watch from the side of the animal that suffers pain at being beaten in their soft spots, whether human, it is not necessary to change their behavior, I tell you that crie Dobermanns for many years and never had to hit anyone.
nopochoclos 4 months ago
@nopochoclos Before you rant on Cesar and his "techniques". First learn the difference between dog psychology and training. There is a BIG difference. His way is through a dogs perspective or like their ancestry the wolf. Cesar use kicks, touch, etc because to snap the dog out of focus, you expect him to go down on his knees and bite or pin down the dog with his own mouth. But if he was a dog, he would have bit the other dog until submission. His way works better then ALL other dog handlers.
