The food they eat even the direction from where they start writing are totally different. That is why partition was proposed. @solidarity2205 < Hinduism is not polytheist. It is a cosmological philosophy expressed in many metaphorical stories set in different ages. Egyptians and Greeks were polytheists. Many Hindus today do not understand their own faith and are either very superstitious or materialistic atheists.
Islam is a copycat religion - plagiarized old/new testament and Hinduism; sooner Muslims realize it, the sooner their troubles would be over. Truth always prevail in the end.

We cannot undermine the will of a percentage of Muslims who did not feel safe under 'Hindus' and thus asked for a separate state, JInnah only represented the rights of these people. Many Muslims are ignorant of their own faith, they only recite the rhetoric of terrorists and war mongers.
Islam was able to emerge as a cultural influence because it was able to absorb the cultures it incorporated.
Indian Islam was influenced by South Asian Hinduism and vice versa.
Now too many Muslims want to "purify" their faith, but the reality is, even with the canonical Hadith, there is still much we don't know about the time/life of the Prophet.

Its Hindu and Urgu mix. For example Word Chand is derive from SANSKRIT word Chandra. In Hindi it became Chand (minus ra Chandra of SANSKRIT). SANSKRIT is the mother of all languages. Urdu and Hindi born due to the mix of culture Arabic, Persian and Hindustani.
