I first heard this song sung by George at the 2006 Houston Rodeo, I thought oh its a song I dont know! I then discovered Webb Pierce.

I have always thought and Wished that George would cut it. He sounds grait doing it! ;)

Yeah saw him in Fresno and you have respect somone who has over 60 #1 hits and instead pays homage to country heritage! It really doesn't get better, 'cause you know there are folks who never heard that before and the next day went out looking for it and discovered webb pierce.

This is a lost genre, the true country singers and writers are gone. These days the radio station pop singers can't pick a true song to sing nor can they sing it well. Webb Pierce, Lefty , Merle, Hank, Charlie Pride, Ray Price Jerry Lee, Vern Gosdin, George Jones, Conway, Tammy Wynette, Johnny Cash, Eddy Arnold, Johnny Paycheck, and I do like Alan Jackson, moreover Randy Travis are the best.
