me playing aneurysm (nirvana fender jaguar)

I think that jaguar is the right guitar to play Aneurysm. I tried to play Aneurysm with my fender mustang 65, but it doesn't nail the tone.

I have a fender Jaguar, It has two single pickups, How would I modify it to have two sets of dual pickups? I'm also using a marshall halfstack, I can't quite get the tone right.

you have single coil size humbucker or hotrails by seymour/duncan

they will fit right in without cutting the body.

and you need to do something to your volume pot.(place some capacitor over it)

or change it to 500k,... they are know 1000k.

ask a guitar tech!!

there is no need to changes the pups in a usa version.

and they need (almost) no further modification.

but it isn't just sound.

the american reisseu is actually a precise remake of the '62 vintage moddel.

as if production never stopped.

japanese an Mexican needs countless modifications an proper setup to serve well.

bridge problems and buzzing seems to be standard on CIJ or mexican.

i never had a problem with this guitar.

I think the standard price is up near $2000 (in Australia atleast)

But I got one on eBay for $735 and it's all good except for ONE scratch on the back which I'm sure is due to the shipment from America to Australia.

the fender jaguar is a SURF guitar.

it isn't the same as kurt used.

it was a jaguar yes, but it was gibson wired with gibson style bridge and a gibson switch and knobs.

cheap japanese or not american pickups suck

get your self some seymour duncan or dimarzio's and change the pots.

a jaguar plays really nice (maybe the best) but it also have to sound like that.

the kurtdz jaguar was a '68,...

mine is from '99/'00.

kurt bod a already moddified jag,..i modded mine like his.

with the same pickups.

the control plate just needs a xtra hole.

its the pickup selector plate thats impossible to get.

a usa jaguar with white binding where only made in '67/ '68.

this is not a shitty japanes K.C. model.

mine is as close as it gets without fucking up a real vintage one.

It's a fender Jaguar but nothing like todays stock models. This is deffinatly made to be like Kurts. Like Kurts, this one has 2 humbuckers and the hard to find 3 knob control plate. Only difference really are the pickup type and Kurt also had A nice white binding that runs up around the sides of the neck.

if you are comparing a usa guitar with a japanese,.....the overall feeling is just better. so you play easier guitar and better.

each guitar has is own tone. the jaguar is not an ordinaire guitar you know.

the classic player hh is not a vintage guitar.

just put some real tone humbuckers in it like seymour/duncan or dimarzio and you'll be fine.

an original jag with normal pups is not a nirvana guitar and it will not sound like that at al.

its made to play surf or jazz.

thats why you have the hh, because everybody who bod a jag because they liked nirvana had them routed for humbuckers.
