  • vampir hunter d is a legend and will always be it!

sad that it doesn t conyinue anymore.

  • Great theme!

  • Anime at its best right here, and one of the best endings too!

  • the music kinda sounds like ode to joy by beetoven abit, but the rythmm is faster :)

  • Vampire Hunter D 3: Forks, Washington

  • D is like the Dhamphire version of Clint Eastwood.

  • Bloodlust is better!

  • I would buy the boxset if they ever made it into a series.VHD would be a sweet game as well get a really good dev to do it...maybe Sony Santa monica the guys that did God of war series.Would play like Devil May Cry/GoW just would be so much cooler imho.

  • @risseer23 There is a VHd game its on psx

  • I love this movie. Both the 1985 original and Bloodlust are classics.

  • This movie is the reason why I watch anime today.

  • D vs Alucard for Death Battle!

  • Love the end of this film as D rides into the sunset just the way i feel sometimes when I want to move on in life.

  • this was the first anime movie I saw, and I've always loved it.

  • its D-chan, or ni-san

  • @mikeccuk2006

nope Dan's saying "Ni-chan" which is slang for brother or big bro

    Doris Lang is saying "D"

  • @fyrestorme123 I thought it was "Anki"

  • Awesome!

By the way, could you please try uploading the entire movie subbed?

  • well made considering its 1985

  • there need to be made a movie

  • the one dislike was the Count that D killed =D

  • D is in the top 10 of the coolest fictional characters of all time.

  • there is a series but only 18 episodes

  • @slayit10 What are you talking about? There's no Vampire Hunter D series. Unless you're talking about the books.

  • :( i wish it was still the 80s back before vampires became sparkling fags :P

  • @96Battosai sparkling fags Hilarious!!!

  • :-)

  • i remember this when i was... lemme see. Hm.... i think nine years old, my god i was all about D, and now i'm like "All you twilight idiots got noth'in on VAMPIRE HUNTER D!"

  • The J-rock song doesn't fit.

I like the English version better, overlaying over his awesome ride-away scene.

  • @LordDyhalto It fits fucking epicly.

  • i'm so pissed. y is there only 2 movies? this is the best anime EVER

  • That is funny because I just now took the time to see this and there were only 2 movies made and no series. I do not know why though but I love this anime just as much as you do.

  • @JuneLinMilliam lol thanks 4 uploading =)

  • @JuneLinMilliam There should be a series coming out soon, in 2010 they announced they were working on it

  • @catie124111

may be this anime is so good also beacause it has only 2 movies and not 100+..?

  • Does anyone know where I find find the 2 songs here??

  • @R1R2R3L1L2L3 The first theme that plays is simply titled "D's Theme (Parting)". Sometimes it's translated as "Theme of D (Departure)" or some combination of the two. The subtitle is in reference to his first theme from earlier in the movie, which is subtitled (Entrance).

  • @R1R2R3L1L2L3 did you find this songs im trying so many times to find in last few years but i dont find them

  • @theborko10

yeah, they're around on here now.

if ya still can't find message me and I'll forward them

  • Yep because it is better than the 2000's anime.

  • hmm i 100% agree. this looks promissing and my favorite anime Bagi the monster of mighty nature is also a epic 80's anime... i will watch this and for anyone wanting to watch another good anime and saw the glory of vampire hunter D watch Bagi the monster of mighty nature

  • @JuneLinMilliam wonderful days, is awsome

  • I'd love to find the song that plays during the credits. Any idea what the name of it is, or who sings it?

  • My japanese friend said the name of it is Your Song.

  • Hey, I once recorded that ending on VHS long time ago. Thanx for uploading that video clip. :-D

  • I keep thinking this is from the 1990s lol. It is so better than the anime for 2000s.

  • No, this anime is from 1985. It's a great classic; that anime is my favorite. I have the name of that anime on my channel info, as a favorite movie; just like the non-anime movie "Heavy Metal". Both animated movies are cool classics, of the 1980s. :-D

  • GREAT! thx for adding!

  • You are welcome.

  • loved a good Cowboy movie, wait a movement lol.

  • "Cafebar Read" would be an allusion to British actor Oliver Reed (1932-99; he was the nephew to noted filmmaker Sir Carol Reed), who starred in movies like Sword of Sherwood Forest and The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll.

  • great ending..reminds me of 'Shane' and 'Pale Rider'

  • @DanteBrian it's based off of Shane
