i love the break up but i wish the writers would have made ethan a real threat ,i think brian never thought he was and the fan saw through him right from the start , i think if they would have made him honest so that he was really practice what he preached it would have been more intresting couse it would have required brian to lift a finger to get justin back it would also have been astrangle for justin betwen what his heart wants (brian ) and his head (ethan).

Daphne represents (most of) the fandom if I do say so myself. She's the one that helped with ideas on how to get Brian's attention and was their only cheerleader at the beginning.

I totally agree. The evidence is that as soon as Ethan was out of the picture, Justin never thought about him again, not even for a moment. Ethan was just a passing cloud that covered the real sun for a while.
