@andbudzi no it doesn't. The highest output Kia Forte Koup is a 2.4litre Theta II engine pumping out 174hp. The Civic's interior is a lot more refined and looks like years ahead of its time. I do like the Koup's exterior though but that's only because it's newer.  I'm going to look at one this week only because Honda's are mor expensive and you get more bang for your buck with the Koreans.
