@strace67...Pavement opened for Sonic Youth in 1992. Royal Trux did as well. You flipped the opening act and headliner. That was the tour behind 'Dirty', their second DGC major label album. Here in Chicago, we got the Royal Trux end of the tour. Pavement opened for them in CA. and throughout the southwest.

Didn't know this guy was playing with them.... Saw Sonic Youth open for Pavement in 1992 in Dallas. Both great, but Sonic Youth was unbelievable, and still are.

you have a long way to go buddy. Try listening to their albums: Sister, and Daydream Nation. It will make you never want to hear Lpark and all that bullshit for 13 yr olds. Sonic Youth is the best! Always has been, always will be!
