  • i wna go soo bad.

  • never ever use leach!!!

its dangerous, sprung leach even worst..

imagine kite draging you out of water without board, and board is stuck to water (surface tension of water) until leach is tense then jumps after you and can hit you.. even lost board is better than lost teeth

  • @dnch Depends on leash type, an Oceanic has a break tollerance pretty low down the power scale, the cord will break if it gained enough tension to recoil the board. My mates and myself been using them for 5 years without issues.

  • @slingshotkites well... thats never ocured to me tha there could be "break point"

not as fault, but as feature:)

  • I use a Reel Leash, not as bad, lets the board out 5 meters behind you, but you can get a bit wrapped in it, nothing too dangerous. More of a pain if the Leash wraps around the back of the board when trying to set orf!

The sprung leash in this clip though, not a good idea.

  • board leash!!!! AHHHH!!!

Get rid of it.. I used one for about the first month of kiteboarding, and then never needed it again. Helps for beginners but just ends up holding you back as your progress
