Another great video, unfortunately I had to skip the Batgirl/Red Robin parts, since I haven't read the books.

I read Cacophony, and I didn't hate it, but it just felt like the characterizations were off. I think Smith's superhero writing has too much of his own voice in it.

I like more traditional comics, where you know exactly what you're getting. I admit it, anything out of the ordinary scares me. So I guess that's my long winded way of saying I'm skipping Widening Gyre.

That's cool. I totally see what you mean about Kevin Smith's tone being very visible in his comics, but I think that's what I like. With his Batman and Green Arrow stuff, I like what he adds to the mix.

Good review. Yeah I hated Cry For Justice killed off too many characters and now one of my favorite villains is dead. Prometheus was total badass now he's dead. Hopefully DC decides to ignore that story cause I want to see a Villain Team up with Hush, Prometheus and Black Mask Dammit!!
