@dynnbobo YES! I renounced my membership from the bglo I was a member. IMO, for some people it is okay with their conscious. For me and others, the holy spirit convicted us to denounce it. It never sat right with me. There was no promotion of the virtues of Christ in the organization or from any bglo, only carnality. And when you learn the message Christ taught, is that we are to clean up our own door steps and not judge everybody. Because we have enough filth in our own houses to clean and not worry about someone elses. Preaching sin and repentance is not a popular message in the black church today anyway. However, I do think that our spiritual leaders should preach about sin and repentance and the dangers of hell, but also the commandments of Love of God and your neighbors.

Pastor Tony is well versed on the negative aspects of some members of fraternities. But using this as a generalization of all would be like stereotyping the Jim Jones Peoples Temple or Pastor David Manning's Anti-Obama Church as being representative of Christianity.

Rather fraternities and sororities that are doing wrong need to become right, churches should be scripture based and pastors should not preach on topics about which they are not knowledgeable.

This man must be another BGLO reject. My pastor is an Alpha, one of my assistant ministers is my soror in Delta Sigma Theta and another assistant minister is an Omega. Clearly, if these people are apart of a gang, it would be a gang of Christians and nothing more.

My sorority was founded on Christian principles so there is no way that it is a gang. People that join organizations may have a gang mentality, however, to discredit the organizations themselves is inappropriate and undeserved.

This is my final response to this issue... you ask where is this and that located physically in the Bible... well the last time I checked, My Lord and Saviour did not belong to a "church" nor did He say that you should belong to one either but we as Christians "belong" to these various non/denominational churches. Look, when I referenced the "church" I wasn't speaking on the entity, but rather the man's segregation of the body of Christ... Christ indeed spoke to Peter as the origin of building, as well as the 7 Churches, but the point you are missing is that it was 1 Lord, 1 Faith, 1 Baptism - not all of the different sects as we now them today (i.e. Baptist, COGIC, Lutheran, Methodist, Catholic, etc... And finally I was not in any way "presuming to speak for Him"... the word stands on its on!!!
