Ive tried the same thing like 10 times ive downloaded and re downloade and also rebooted but it keeps saying un expected error as soon as i start DFU mode and when i do get into it goes to the point where it needs to rebbot and just stops and i have to close it

@bren9199 That's really strange, have you tried restoring your ipod to default settings?

@bren9199 Make sure you're entering DFU correctly, and if you are try downloading the correct iOS 5.0.1 for your phone. Use the iOS you downloaded in redsn0w by clicking 'extras' and then 'select ipsw' then jailbreak it. It wont delete any of your stuff on your phone, but it should fix your problem

All joking aside though, yes neither OS is very secure, but Android doesn't try to be secure by stopping you from installing what you want, from where you want. The Android OS does however tell you about the risks of installing apps which are not from the Official market.  You make the choice whether you want to go ahead or not. iOS doesn't give you the option at all, unless jail broken.

haha jailbreaking has became more technologically advanced now. my jailbroken ipod is still on 3.1.2 with blackra1n. (and i fucking hate it haha) but shiit doe, i wish i can restore my ipod and re-jailbreak it but then all of my songs/movies/games will be lost. and i got too much shit on there
