Ive seen many of these full clips it looks like the tiger swings more because he does but the blows don't hurt the lion as much. Some of the times here the lion is dodging the tigers swipes ducking and moving from side to side. Clyde Beaty has said the Lion always wins in a fight, he lost like 24 tigers in fights, and no lions.

@bigcatsliontiger In ancient times, tigers and lions were pitted against each other, and since the tigers would always win they stopped making them fight each other because it wasn't even a contest any more. Tigers are obviously a lot bigger, faster, stronger, smarter, larger teeth, more fight experience. What even is there that a lion has that a tiger doesn't other than a mane?

@xSpoz This answers it. The only advantage a lion could really have is it's pack mentality, but since we are all assuming a 1v1 set-up, a lion has no advantage...and I'm a lion fan. Immensely. So *shrug* It's simple fact. The animals adapted for different circumstances. The tiger is a solo hunter who has to do more than run and jump on things and drag it to the ground and wait for its buddies to help it. Get over it.

At 1:50 into the vid, the tiger wasn`t controlling the fight. He grabbed the lion`s mane, so the lion turned to his back in order to use his back legs, with the purpose of getting his adversary to release his hold. At 2:08 the tiger was cowering behind a chair. wonder why? And, at 4:28, just after the lion moved to the left, he clocked the tiger with his right paw, and the tiger submitted (look at his low heaf), which is why the lion ran off.
