i dont know what to say to the race or the comments. First all it does not matter how many cylinders it has, GM built a 2.2 ecotech (that so called 4 banger everyone refers to) with 1500whp. Secondly its not uncommon a v6 beats the heavy weighted v8. However with that said, I have been in both a z28 camaro and have hot rodded my mother in laws altima 3.5SE. though the 3.5SE is extremely fast, i still dont think it will take a z28 5.7L. there is a 79 TQ difference.
@psoutrage Well I assume the Altima was stock, considering the LT1 in your car did 0-60 in 5.8 seconds stock, which is the same time a stock Altima does. If the Altima was not stock, it needs a driver mod. Now if it was the LS1 engine, it would be a different story.
i have no problem beating the VQ 3.5 in the altima or maxima. my son's friend bought an 08 maxima 3.5 and wanted to run against my 93 LT1 formula( I/E)
121,000MI . it was ugly. from a roll it was bad enough but from a dig it was REALLY bad. very luxurious car though,much smoother ride and comfort than my formula.
That altima sucks or the driver does come on my 2005 2.5s made a 15.9 at 87mph and i went a against the new chevy impala v8 an i kept up with that car...
@Cryofademon1 Retard, you suck for not knowing the difference between times at sea level and times above sea level. This drag strip is 5800 ft above sea level, do I need to explain to you what that does to the times?? My IQ dropped having to write this to you.

I have a 05 altima v6 with aftermaket exhaust and intake and won against a Z28. We made two runs, one starting at 20mph... the other at 50mph. The altima had faster acceleration.
@thegratefulbigdaddy I know these poor bastards can't get over the fact that some of their V8's get beaten by import V6. They do not take into account other factors such as transmission, weight, suspension, tires etc. Take the 5.7 Charger, lots of HP but its a tank.

The only camaro that has beaten me was a 02 SS. The rest were z28s with the LS1 and one v6 camaro from 2010.

@Iverson3N7Vick Its not faster. It does 0-60 in 3.6 seconds vs 3.14 for the Enzo. Still not bad for a V8 vs V12.
