  • do yous do normal silage aswell?

  • No, just baled silage.

  • What stops the wrapper heeling up when the bale Tips? I know the mchale has a damper arm but surely it would tip some? I know it Hops off the drawbar on mine a bit when I tip it.

  • Sometimes it might lift the front of the wrapper a little bit but only a couple of inches. I suppose the weight if the powerpack at the front would help balance things a bit. In fact a couple fo years ago the damper leg broke off and we ran it for a few weeks without one and it never tipped up!

  • indeed

  • loaders a little zoomer

  • It is indeed. She has a 40k box and boom suspension so it takes the bumps fairly well. And there was plenty in this field! The last teleporter he had had even better boom suspension. It was pure legend altogether!

  • Nice video! Very nice indeed! I think the wrapper's coming to the end of its life though. I was coming back after wrapping this evening and the chassis broke in two in allenwood. Right across the space between the turntable and the diesel tank. He's getting it welded up for the moment but i think he realises its fucked!

  • Ah stop, 80,000 bales its well past it, fuck it out and get a new one, engine's not great either. How did you manage to get it home from there or was it still towable? I suppose you were hopping over bumps at 40k, that was bound to happen, like what happened to me going into sallins amonth ago, going like a blue whore cos I was late, hit a bump and the draw bar breaks off!! Bolocks to that.
