I've always wondered why Lucifer would torture people for god? If one faithfully believes in god, and does a good job, they go to heaven; a believer who does a bad job goes to hell and is punished; the first two are easy to understand. Why would someone who didn't believe in god be punished in hell? Lucifer seems to be the rebellious against god type, so why would he torture people for rebelling against god as well? Would someone who worshiped Lucifer, and did a bad job, end up going to heaven?

See you have to understand that its been advertised over so many years that GOD is just gonna forgive a person just cuz they ask it. I think *some* passages make that clear, but there are also biblical passages that contradict that idea, and even passages that deny the whole notion of an afterlife. How does one get eternity in hell for 100 years of being evil. Shouldn't 100 years of evil be rewarded with 100 years of hell from a just God?

I'm Christian, but hell is one of those things that I simply cannot fathom as it is spoken of.

I also doubt anyone who rejects God will go to hell regardless of being good or not. Jesus helped that girl who was a pagan. So how come?

Gor, the bible itself explains that. The bible says," the wages of sin is death." So by that alone eternal damnation or torment is untrue. One would have to be alive to be tormented forever. So one would have to have the "gift" of life. It is a contridiction and a satanic lie on God. Also, the bible says in essc, that the dead are conscious of nothing at all, so they could not be dead and suffering either. Simply put, it is just a lie.

Gor, much of Christian "religions" are pagen in origin. Their teachings are not supported by the bible. The eternal torment is definately a Satanic lie. It was probably promoted to keep the congregation in line. Keep people in fear and you can control them. Religion has taken many things from pagan religions. Dec 25 as Jesus birthday for one. Even the celebrating of his birthday at all. He told his followers to celebrate his death, not his birth. Obviously religion and the bible are at odds.

The terms 'good' and 'bad' can be used in various ways. In Christianity the goodness of a persons actions aren't enough to get them into the city of God. The idea of someone saying, "I deserve to go to heaven" is foolish as all have sinned and can only be brought into God's presence by accepting the forgiveness he has provided through Jesus Christ.
