Yes, it did. I've extracted, compressed and uploaded this video three times, but I was never able to solve whatever the hell the problem with it is.

A direct attack on the Pentagon would have greatly compromised Nod's own way of creepingly gaining influence amongst the common people, and to then begin with destabilizing the country from within.

Nod isn't as much about conquering land in the traditional sense, as it is about securing the devotion and loyalties of the people who live on it. There's a reason Nod is reminiscent of a new kind of world religion in some ways.

Seth apparently didn't see quite as far or as clearly as Kane, however.

You have to use that pittance of troops to find a damaged NOD base. Sell the construction yard, train some flame troops and use the reinforcement Chinook to send them over to the abandoned GDI base, along with the engineer from the sold construction yard. Repossess the base and use GDI's own forces to wipe out their real base.

Just use the initial forces tactically - Minigunners and flame troops vs infantry, rocket soldiers vs vehicles. You'll be fine.
