This game look incredibly bad compare to diablo 1/2 and their addons.There is too much spell effects for the very low number of mobs that walk around.Monsters also look simpathic.We are very far from the desolated lands of diablo1&2, where blood and dead trees stand a bit everywhere...There is too much light... and its like, push one button and wait 10 sec that ur char stop to hurt everybody ... dis game really dont look like a real DIABLO !

@aznguy11111 well D2 was kind of shit-ur-pants too when you first played it, from the very start, dark environment, The Den of Evil than killing Blood Raven...wanting to get everything from D2, I did the Crypt and the Mausoleum too, every dark deep dungeon, the 3rd Act, Khurast, was rather scary too, than Pandaemonium and Hell, 5th Act was rather epic too...I do hope D3 will walk both the paths of D1 and D2 for I've played both and both are on top of the big list of games I've played thus far

some classes are made for normal combat, some are made for casting... mages for example, can cast as almost all their damage, but warriors (or barbarians) melee attack, and most damage comes from normal fighting... this class is made for melee combat but with spells... main purpose is to get off combos for highest amount of damage...

Yea I definitely see what looks like the physics engine. Because I see some npcs fly a short distance while others fly further. This is one thing that the physics engine does, calculates the trajectory of particles.

If I were to guess I think you could play this on at least the 8600 cards. If you want all the special effects + physics, you'll probably need a 9800gt or better.

Even with settings low, the 8600gt cards will probably still have some lag here and there in the game.

About the release date its simple guys. Cataclysm is coming for Xmast or before for the fifth years anniversary of wow. And D3 is comin proly for summer 2010 or fall 2010. Simple like that and it make sence.

Cata wont be coming out this xmas.. Onyxia patch comes out around the fifth anniversary and Ice crown citadel still needs to come out. Personally I dont see Cata coming out around spring 2010 or later. For D3 i'd say possibly xmas 2010 but i doubt it i'd say early 2011.

Im guessing the next char will be revealed sooner then the last 4 have because by many peoples speculations this was supposed to be the 5th character revealed because there is so little done with it, and they had some sort of mix up with the 4th. WitchDoctor=Necromancer from D2

I'm comparing the monk and the witchdoctor to the old d2 chars because the gameplay is similar, monks have like a combo mechanic, and the Witchdoctor can summon undead minions in other words these arent new clases just remakes taken to a hole new level of the original.

Of course, like any good Diablo sequel. And blizz are considering a 5/5 skill tree like World of Warcraft, the most noticeble chance is the fact that if you have a barbarian and you spend 2 points in Juggernaut and 3 points in Berserker you get the second tier of skills and so on, and there is consideration of adding 15 skill point through speccin, thought this still discussed.

Dude, your wrong about Paladin sux. Its the strongest class in D2 in terms of pvp. Paladin has alot of types, the most frequent played is hammerdin, followed by FOHdin and than either Zealot/smitedin. Zealot is the strongest of them all if you have the items :) Amazon is gone?? T_T ..

i think one of the dissimilarities that bugs me most about d3 compared to d2 is how every hit in d3 shakes the screen and you really "feel" it. That's typical to a lot of newer games, but i think a really fun aspect of d2 was mowing through hordes of baddies in seconds and massacring every one of em. just my 2cents
