  • That's clearly Bob, he's voice is just a little lower here, but i can tell it's Bob...

  • this isbob marley and bunny wailer but most of the time was bunny for sure guys 100% that time he was the leader of the band

  • Comment removed

  • I can hear Peter and Bunny in the backing vocals and they only backed Bob. This is a classic wailers record.

  • forget all your problems for 3'35!!! golden years**********crazy sound!!!

  • when he says "Oh Yes I aaam" You can clearly hear it's Bob

  • Just listen to the music. It's from the soul, about love, and it's just Bob and the Wailers. No one else.

  • Melodic so haunting, bob this is you pure raw,and untouched i love u forever always bless!

  • I love love this version better...more pain in his voice. From 3:11 on is the best part.....chune!!!!

  • They are were soo cute back when they were teens.

  • Priceless...it is Bob Marley if u know tune u know tune...love the picture of all of them.

  • its an amazing song all of their early stuff is pretty great in my opinion. bob's voice is amazing in this song

  • I love the song and the vintage picture. Cool!

  • ¡Qué música tan más bonita y sentimental! Increíble.

  • Real Bob Marley lovers recognize his voice in an instant.

This is definitly Bob with Tosh and Bunny in the background.

I just discovered today actually How much bob and the wailers were inspired by The Impressions.

  • dats him i could tell rite away

  • Bob is amazing I was listening to a radio show and theyb wanted people to guess who was singing a song, it was bob but no one guessed right because the singer sounded like an ol time church boy decent and clean sound like a girl. I never heard this version and i dont think thats bob, honestly it could be someone else, sessions were weird back then

  • Honestly, it is Bob. I think he was trying to sound like soul singer Jerry Butler by lowering his voice.

  • @bluesoulsound I agree cuz sometime I hear a song like this and I can tell it's bob

  • it's bob, if u listen the bob ska songs his voice is more different, instead here his voice is the one who bob ever had

  • @newyorkjamaican Thats No doubt Bob, you can tell he was just a lot younger, and not to mention cancerless. This has gotta be one of my favorite Bob songs

  • @newyorkjamaican That's stupid. Anyone who knows his music could tell this is Bob singing.

  • Excellent !!!

  • i have this jam on my south side souldies

  • How can we be sure that this is the real Marley singing?

  • Check out his other takes of this song. They are all on Youtube. His normal voice comes through in places. He wasn't a natural baritone, he was forcing it.

  • People who know his voice know it's Bob. People who don't know his voice may not be able to tell that it's him, but that is their shortcoming..

The fact is that this is clearly Bob, without as much as a single scintilla of doubt. It is absolutely, clearly, undeniably, and unquestionably Bob Marley. Absolutely no doubt whatsoever.

    Yeah, it's Bob.

  • @Purushadasa agreed, but he is just younger, so his voice is a bit different

  • Great song. But I'd never guessed that this voice is Bob Marley's. Never!

  • He sang that way for a couple of years because the Wailers didn't have a real baritone. On the other versions of this song his voice slips sometimes into his natural range and then you recognise him.

    Appreciate your interest, as always!
