Most women like the author seek approval and affirmation of their interracial relationship. It should not be THAT important to stress the race of your mate if it is truly love. Ask the author if she would love this man if he was a BM. She loves him because he is white and that is why she mentions it so often. Sleeping with a race that has raped 400 years. I dunno what they mean by sellout, but a lot of people get angry when somone of their race from the opposite sex is dating someone of a different race.
I personally think black girls are more attractive. i'd marry one if I got in serious relationship. If anyone thinks i'm a sellout for that, then whatever. I personally couldn't care less.

Since ancient times there has been a mixing of the races (and race is cultural), and this was not necessarily through force. Through all of this Black people, Asian people, White people, Native American people etc. have endured and surived-along with many mixed race people.

There are two types of black men. Content happy black men and lonley misreble black men.

I agree with you 100%. I'm white and my husband is biracial. People say mean things to me because i'm not with a white man. My parents don't know about our marriage but my sister does and she doesn't approve. She keps saying mean things to me and makes fun of my sweetheart. My husband gets treated wrong because he is biracial. It doesn't make sense. To me, he is a beautiful creation of God. You continue to love who you wanna love, honey.

People who complain about people being "sellouts" are most likely miserable or closed minded. I would ignore them if I were you. I have a wonderful Asian husband and he takes great interest in my culture as I do his. If I were such a sellout I would be trying to disown my blackness, and run away from all that I am. I will always love being a black woman and he loves my being a woman who just happens to be black! I love him, a man who happens to be Asian!

People stare at you guys cause you have very borad african features and you dont look like the type to date outside your race.. I am biracial, my mom is white and when her and my dad are out we dont get any stares.. but then again we live in canada so its different here then america.. its more diverse i think.
