This game is the perfect example why games shouldn't be decided by penalties. Brasil dominated that game completely and clearly were the better team but were just a little unlucky. It was the end of an era too for that Brasil team since Zico, Socrates, and Junior retired from international competition after that WC.

The notion that Brazil sold out the 98 final is ludicrous. Regarding the 86 game, as you can see from the lack of a penalty given at the end of the video, France was far from being lucky. They deserved to win. In 06, Brazil was out-shot, outclassed, and quite frankly dominated. You also fail to mention that France beat Brazil in 01 at the Confederations Cup 2-1, and then tied a scoreless draw in a friendly in 04.

Das copas que zico disputou tirando a de 82, uma saiu invicto (78) que era impossível ganhar; a outra 86 disputou no banco machucado, pois havia passado por 3 cirurgias. A copa que ele realmente jogou, a seleção se confundia com arte, era brilhante, saiu por um detalhe, mas como uma das melhores de todos os tempos, aííí... se tivessem marcado aquele penalty no rei Zico contra a itália!!!
