wow, that's really neat I never knew that. I always wondered why he stuck with the My Bloody Valentine name, when he didn't even make it up in the first place. The old singer made it up. that's interesting to hear that he actually considered renaming it but one gig led to another and then he signed to creation and so he just kept using the name.
