just watched Thinner which i found really entertaining. have also watched Shawkshank Redemption and Green Mile from this list. planning on watching The Shining at some point. any recommendations to any other movies based on Kings books i shld watch....or even any really good King books i can read?? really fascinated by Stephen King's work.

i think this is a great tribute to the king. the king of horror that is.Just like Michael Jackson is the king of pop and Elvis is the king of rock . Steven King is the king of horror and suspense, his talent will never be equaled.

I've met him... pretty odd guy. His house is pretty neat too. It's sortof a landmark of the area. You can pick it out pretty easily from the other nice houses on West Broadway, Bangor ME by the bats and spider/webs included on his fencing around the property... and the giant frog statue on his Lawn. Neat guy, great work :)

I like it, but I do want to correct you on one thing, both versions of Salem's Lot, the original with David Soul and the remake with Rob Lowe, is based on his novel(the original mini-series is closer). Otherwise, I liked it. Happy Birthday, Mr. King.

The Lawnmower Man movie had nothing to do with Stephen King or his story. An independent film was made from King's Lawnmower Man but it was not publicly released. The Lawnmower Man movie used King's title without his permission and he sued to have his name taken off the film as it had no association with him whatsoever.
