Yes, you can use simple materials to do embossing.  You can use you computer mat as the cushion and a blunt pencil or a chopstick to do embossing of any template of your choice, a heart, oval, letter - in reverse of course, puzzle piece, etc, etc. You can do it on a variation of paper, cardstock and tinfoil.........

I´m sorry, it´s just that there are so many episodes here where crafts equipment is used that is unfortunately a bit expensive, that´s why I was wondering if they could really do it with just simple materials.
